Abdullah Mohtadi (born 1946) is an Iranian Kurdish political leader and the Secretary General of the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan. A founding member of Komala in 1969, Mohtadi was central to the organization's participation in the Kurdish resistance after the 1979 revolution. He played a key role in Komala's merger into the Communist Party of Iran in 1983. In 2000, Mohtadi led Komala's split from the CPI, reconstituting it as an independent party and guiding its ideological evolution from Marxism toward social democracy. He has been a prominent voice in the Iranian Kurdish diaspora and participated in opposition coordination efforts, including discussions with other dissident groups during the Mahsa Amini protests.
