Gholam-Hossein Sadighi was an Iranian sociologist, politician, and one of the founding figures of the National Front of Iran. He studied in France and became a prominent academic, eventually serving as a professor and rector at the University of Tehran.

In 1949 he joined Mohammad Mossadegh and Karim Sanjabi in co-founding the National Front, Iran's principal secular nationalist coalition. During Mossadegh's government he served as Minister of Interior (1952–1953), a key post during the oil nationalisation crisis and the period of confrontation with British interests.

After the 1953 coup d'état backed by the CIA and MI6 overthrew Mossadegh's government, Sadighi was arrested and imprisoned. He continued to be associated with the National Front opposition in subsequent decades, maintaining his academic career alongside political activism.

Sadighi was a close colleague of Karim Sanjabi within the National Front leadership. He represented the secular, intellectual strand of Iranian nationalism that the Front embodied.
