Saeid Hassanzadeh was an Iranian diplomat stationed in Albania who was expelled in January 2020 in the second wave of Albanian expulsions of Iranian intelligence personnel — the first having been the expulsion of Gholamhossein Mohammadnia in 2018. Albanian authorities alleged that Hassanzadeh operated as a Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) officer tasked with surveillance and targeting operations against members of the Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK) at their Ashraf-3 compound near Manez.
