Iran

Iran (ایران) is the primary government-owned daily, published since 1995 by the state news agency IRNA. It supports the presidency. English-language edition: Iran Daily. In September 2006 it was banned on the same day Shargh was closed; the Iran ban was quickly lifted while Shargh remained suspended.
