Iranian People's Fadai Guerrillas

The Iranian People's Fadai Guerrillas (IPFG) is a splinter organisation that broke away from the Organization of Iranian People's Fadai Guerrillas after the 1980 split. Unlike both the Fadaiyan-e Khalq (Majority), which moved toward collaboration with the Islamic Republic, and the Fadaiyan-e Khalq (Minority), which maintained a militant opposition stance, the IPFG represented a smaller current committed to the original armed struggle line of the Fadaiyan tradition. It operates in exile and maintains the heritage of the pre-revolutionary guerrilla organisation while remaining a marginal force in post-revolutionary Iranian opposition politics.
