Iran's Ministry of Roads and Urban Development was formed in 2011 by merging the Ministry of Roads and Transportation with the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. Under Mehrdad Bazrpash (2022–2024), the ministry managed transportation infrastructure during the Ebrahim Raisi administration.
