Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute

The Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute (NSTRI) is the principal research arm of the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran, responsible for applied nuclear research, isotope production, and development of reactor and radiation technologies. Amir Hossein Faghihi, a former AEOI vice president, served as its head before being killed in Israeli airstrikes on 13 June 2025.
