Davoud Alizadeh

Davoud Alizadeh served as commander of the IRGC Quds Force Lebanon Corps, the primary operational unit managing Iran's relationship with Hezbollah. He assumed effective command of Lebanon Corps operations following the Israeli killing of Ibrahim Aqil in September 2024, inheriting responsibility for coordinating weapons transfers, financial conduits, and Hezbollah military liaison. Alizadeh was killed in an Israeli airstrike on 12 March 2026 during the 2026 Iran war.
