Fatemeh Hashemi Rafsanjani

Fatemeh Hashemi Rafsanjani is an Iranian women's rights activist and the daughter of former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. She heads the Charity Foundation for Special Diseases and serves as secretary-general of the Women's Solidarity Association of Iran.

She is a senior member of the Moderation and Development Party. In 1995, she led Iran's delegation to the Organisation of Islamic Countries' symposium on women's role in Islamic society.

She studied under Sadegh Zibakalam at the University of Tehran.
