Hamid Rasaee

Hamid Rasaee is a hardline cleric representing Tehran in the Islamic Consultative Assembly (12th Majlis). He is a senior figure of the Front of Islamic Revolution Stability and publisher of the Noh Dey Weekly, shut down multiple times during the Hassan Rouhani presidency. He publicly clashed in a famous 2015 parliamentary confrontation with an aide of Ali Khamenei over the JCPOA. He was previously disqualified by the Guardian Council from one election cycle. He served in the 8th and 9th Majlis before returning in the 12th.
