Morteza Agha-Tehrani

Morteza Agha-Tehrani is a senior figure of the Front of Islamic Revolution Stability who served as the party's founding Secretary-General before handing the role to Sadegh Mahsouli in late 2020. He chairs the Islamic Consultative Assembly's Cultural Committee — a key position that made him the primary legislative driver of the controversial mandatory hijab enforcement bill. He was also described as Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's personal ethics teacher, cementing the Paydari network's ties to the Ahmadinejad presidency.
