Bonyad-e Taavon-e Sepah (IRGC Cooperative Foundation) is the primary economic and business cooperative arm of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. It controls vast economic interests across multiple sectors of the Iranian economy including construction, manufacturing, and trade. The foundation serves as a vehicle for the IRGC's deep penetration of Iran's civilian economy. Parviz Fattah served as executive director of its investment arm after leaving the Energy Ministry and before becoming deputy commander of Khatam al-Anbiya. The US Treasury sanctioned Bonyad Taavon Sepah and Fattah in December 2010 for its role in the IRGC's economic empire.
