The Mojahedin of the Islamic Revolution Organization (OMIIR) is a reformist party reconstituted in 1991 from the left wing of the original 1979 organisation of the same name. It is closely allied with the Islamic Iran Participation Front within the reform movement. Key figures include Behzad Nabavi, Mohsen Armin, and Mostafa Tajzadeh. The party emphasised the republican dimensions of the Islamic Republic over its theocratic elements. Several members were arrested and imprisoned after the 2009 Green Movement protests.
