Amir-Hossein Sabeti

Amir-Hossein Sabeti is a young conservative activist and state television anchor who placed second in the Tehran ballot in the 2024 parliamentary election, making him one of the most prominent new faces in the 12th Majlis. Born in 1989, he represents the post-war generation of IRGC-aligned conservatives who entered politics via media rather than clerical routes. He is a member of the Front of Islamic Revolution Stability. In 2012 he received a suspended sentence from a Revolutionary Court for protesting Ali Larijani's parliamentary policies on universities.
