Mehdi Rabbani

Mehdi Rabbani served as Deputy Chief of Armed Forces for Operations under the General Staff of the Armed Forces, responsible for operational planning and coordination across Iran's military branches. He was killed on 14 June 2025 in the opening strikes of the Israeli Twelve-Day War campaign. Note: He is distinct from Mohsen Rabbani, the Argentine-based MOIS operative linked to the AMIA bombing.
