Mohammad Shirazi

Mohammad Shirazi was a Brigadier General who headed the military section of the Supreme Leader's Military Office (beit-e rahbari), overseeing Ali Khamenei's direct military staff. He was killed on 28 February 2026 in the combined US-Israel decapitation strikes targeting Iran's military and security leadership. His death, alongside deputy Akbar Ebrahimzadeh, effectively destroyed the Supreme Leader's personal military command apparatus.
