Supreme Leader's Military Office

The Supreme Leader's Military Office (دفتر نظامی رهبری, Daftar-e Nezami-ye Rahbari), also referred to as the military section of the beit-e rahbari (Leader's Household), serves as Ali Khamenei's direct military staff. It coordinates military directives from the Supreme Leader to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the IRGC, and Artesh, and functions as the principal interface between the Supreme Leader and operational military command. The office was headed by Brigadier General Mohammad Shirazi at the time of his death, with Akbar Ebrahimzadeh as deputy. Both were killed in the February 28, 2026 decapitation strikes, effectively destroying the Supreme Leader's personal military command apparatus.
