Amir-Hossein Ghazizadeh Hashemi is a hardline politician from Mashhad who served as First Deputy Speaker of the 11th Majlis under Ghalibaf (2020–2024). He was one of only seven candidates approved by the Guardian Council from 585 applicants in the 2021 presidential election, finishing fourth. A physician by training, he represents the IRGC-aligned principlist networks that swept the 11th Majlis.
