Hamid Reza Jalalipour

Hamid Reza Jalalipour was the co-director and publishing head of the company behind Jame'eh, Tous, and Neshat, working alongside Mashallah Shamsolvaezin. He and Shamsolvaezin were jailed together without charges for 35 days after Jame'eh's closure in 1998. Jalalipour is also a sociologist and political analyst associated with Tehran University, one of the academic-reformist intellectuals who staffed the Khatami-era press.
