Massoud Ahmadzadeh (1947–1972) was an Iranian Marxist guerrilla theorist and co-founder of the armed underground cell that became known as the Ahmadzadeh-Pouyan group. Together with Amir Parviz Pouyan, he developed an influential framework for armed struggle against the Pahlavi monarchy, articulated in his pamphlet Armed Struggle: Both a Strategy and a Tactic (1970). The Ahmadzadeh-Pouyan group merged with Bijan Jazani's group in 1971 to form the Organization of Iranian People's Fadai Guerrillas, a founding act symbolised by the Siahkal incident. Ahmadzadeh was arrested by SAVAK and executed in May 1972. He is remembered as one of the founding martyrs of the Fadaiyan movement.
