Mohammad Aliabadi is an Iranian official who served as Vice President and head of the Physical Education Organization from 2005 to 2009 under President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He holds degrees in civil engineering and architecture from K.N. Toosi University of Technology.

Aliabadi served in the Iran-Iraq War and held earlier posts as deputy minister of Roads and Transportation and deputy director of the Bonyad-e Mostazafan (Foundation of the Oppressed). In June 2011, Ahmadinejad appointed him caretaker Minister of Petroleum after sacking the incumbent, a move widely criticised given Aliabadi's lack of energy sector experience. He was replaced after approximately two months by Rostam Ghasemi.

Aliabadi is linked to the establishment of Tat Bank, later restructured into Ayandeh Bank. Reports indicate that sports federations under his authority, including indebted football clubs, appeared among Tat Bank's main shareholders, and that the league organisation directed funds to the bank. This facilitated banker Ali Ansari's entry into Iran's financial sector. Aliabadi also served as president of the National Olympic Committee of Iran from 2008 to 2014.
