March 2026 Strike Wave on IRGC/Basij/SNSC Leadership

A sustained US-Israel strike campaign from 2–31 March 2026 (with operations extending to early April) that killed 30+ named officials across the Basij, IRGC regional commands, IRGC Quds Force Lebanon Corps, Ministry of Intelligence, and the Supreme National Security Council. The wave followed the February 2026 Israeli strikes that killed Ali Khamenei and began a systematic campaign to eliminate Iran's reconstituted military leadership. The most strategically significant single strike occurred on 17 March 2026, targeting the SNSC compound: it killed Ali Larijani, his son Morteza Larijani, SNSC Deputy Secretary Ali Bateni, and SNSC Deputy for Internal Security Alireza Bayat. Other senior casualties included Basij head Asadollah Badfar, Khatam al-Anbiya Staff Chief Abolqasem Babaeian, and multiple IRGC provincial and Aerospace Force commanders.
